The hotel is within walking distance to the most fashionable area in Barcelona for tourism and shopping. The Royal Ramblas is the perfect place to live the real Barcelona experience.

GREAT VALUE RIGHT ON LAS RAMBLAS !!!

The ROYAL RAMBLAS is right on Las Ramblas Boulevard, which, while touristy, is extremely central and a great place to stay with a very reasonable and flexible rates.
It is perfect for first-time visitors within walking distance of all attractions, restaurants and bars. Las Ramblas is always buzzing with activity right on the doorstep of the Hotel Royal Ramblas. Very close to the GOTHIC QUARTER and CITY TOUR'S companies which provide excellent tours of the city.

Food & beverage

RESTAURANT-PIZZERIA-GRILL "LA POMA"

The hotel’s pride and joy, La Poma restaurant is divided into two distinct sections. On the first floor level is a large room with traditional Spanish decor. A varied menu is on offer here, but the highly regarded specialties are meat dishes from the CHARCOAL BROIL GRILL and the traditional SEA-FOOD PAELLA.
Downstairs at street level the same menu is on offer but in a more casual, cafeteria-style setting. Both sections of the restaurant are busy with outside visitors every night and have an independent entrance from the street. Regardless of the multitude of food establishments in the area, the hotel’s LA POMA restaurant is one of the best places to sample a traditional paella.
Make sure you call reception to book a table as it can be busy on any night of the week.

With its recent complete renovation, thel Royal Ramblas combines classical charm with modern comfort. You will feel at home in any of the 108 rooms. Guestrooms are warm and comfortable and completely soundproofed to guarantee a restful stay.

All the rooms are decorated in a Spanish style and include dark-wood furniture, minibar, free digital in-room safe, marbled bathroom with hair dryer, satellite TV, wifi internet access at extra charge, double-glazed windows and room service (from 7 to 11).
Many of the rooms overlook the Ramblas and have lovely views over central Barcelona.
The hotel has also non smoking rooms on request.

Central location, very helpful staff especially in reception

The breakdast was very expensive so we decided not to have at the hotel. The room was of 3 persons but it was small though and therefore crowded.

Location is excellent and breakfast buffet has a good selection

Although we booked 2 months ahead for two non-smoking rooms, we got a room on 3 floor and the second on the 6 floor which is for smokers. The staff tried to explain that this are the rules. If so, there are other hotels in the near location which may be better accomodating

Happened to be cold day, and I asked for the heating to be on, but they told me it is between the season (winter and summer) so not able to have it. they gave us few blankets instead. Staff was very nice, they understood we were not happy so let us go. it was critical feeling cold in the room does not give us pleasant stay.
