Hotel is simply great! Breakfast is great! Room spacious and clean. Location, shops/ restaurants and even Carrefour by walking distance. My Hubby was like Uh-oh, too convenience for a shoppng spree! U r actually at the Ramblas! Station is just a min's walk. Will come back and definitely stay here again! Appreciate that the hotel staff even informed us which high crime area to be avoided. Heater does not work properly but who cares when every other things like breakfast/ cleanliness/ convenience of walking around the area is great. |

Great location in the middle of Ramblas and most tourist places ,opposite Liceu metro.The staff was very helpful and friendly.The tiny room was nice,very clean wiith all the facilities :refrigerator,air -condition,a very comfortable bathroom,free internet.The staff was helpful and very nice.I was entirely happy with the hotel.(don't miss the Botero's cat statue behind the hotel) |

I am a U.S. top class hotel owner. The Moderno was modern, teriffic business center services, and directly located at Barcelona's tourist action. Hotel Guest services spent much extra time with me at business center. Very impressed with lobby, breakfast, housekeeping staff We travel with way too much Cruise luggage. On our floor there where 3 steps to get down from Elevator Lobby to room corridor level. That might be cumbersome for some guests. Perhaps it is common in hotels there. |
